LureSec offers the option to continously update an email lure on your site automatically at a defined interval. Rotating lures in this manner frequently allows you to track when a leak may have happened by associating the lure with a date. For example, let's say that you automatically update an email lure on a monthly basis and your database is compromised in March but doesn't get used by the attacker until July. Based on seeing the lures triggered for January, February, and March but not April or June you'd be able to approximate when the leak happened. This is even more important for companies who have dealt with breaches in the past but the data keeps re-appearing online. With automatic site lures in place you'd be able to establish whether the leaked data is from a recent breach or if it is old.


Follow these steps to add a site for automatic lure updates.

1. From the Dashboard click on Sites from the left sidebar
2. Click the button Add Site
3. When prompted enter the full URL (https://www.mysite.tld/) of the site you'd like automatic email lure updates on.
4. Select the interval you would like the lure to be automatically update at. Current options are Weekly or Monthly
5. If your site requires a paid membership to either signup or maintain an account be sure to select the checkbox Paid Membership
6. Click button Add to submit
7. The site will now be in either 1 of 2 states:
   
   1) Pending -- this means that the site has been added to the queue to be registered for automatic updates
   Action Required -- this means that you need to set up the initial user on your site. Click on the button Action Required and use the provided email address and password to register the lure on your site. While the initial registration requires manual setup all further updates will be automatic

There may come a time where you would like to temporarily disable a site from automatic updates.

To disable a Site from the Dashboard click on the slider button under the "Active" row.
To completely remove a site follow the below steps

1. From the Dashboard click on Sites from the left sidebar
2. Find the site you would like to remove and click on the button Remove Site
3. When prompted click Confirm

Status Name	Status Description
Action Required	Site needs to have email lure manually registered to it with specified password or if the lure user already exists on the site the password needs to be reset to the one specified to allow automatic updates in the future.
Pending	Site is waiting to be added to the queue.
Queued	Site has been added to the queue and awaiting on lure to be activated
Error	There was an error registering the lure or updating it. Click on site to see errors
